TTRS tuleb siis väidetavalt 5 silindrilise 2,5 liitrise mootoriga. Kasutatakse kombinatsiooni kompressorist ja turbost ning jõudu lubatakse 343hj.

Updated to accept the same cylinder head configuration as the 5.2-liter V10 used in the S8 along with the latest direct-injection technology from German specialist Bosch, the new Audi engine is said to deliver in the region of 365 hp. That's some 22 hp more than the Z4 M Coupe. As with the TT-S, the TT-RS will place its power to the ground via either a standard six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed version of Audi's S-Tronic double-clutch gearbox, with a Haldex-style four-wheel-drive system, which uses a multi-plate clutch instead of Audi's more traditional Torsen-based arrangement, apportioning drive to all four wheels.

At the heart of the TT RS is a turbocharged 2.5-liter turbocharged FSI 5-cylinder engine – a return for Audi to the iconic force-fed 5-pot configuration. Early official information from Audi confirms power at “above 300 hp”, though Fourtitude has heard at least 350 hp from senior Audi executives directly involved in the car’s development. That’s enough to move the TT RS from 0-62 mph under 5 seconds… “nowhere near 5 seconds,” according to a quick blurb in the official teaser info from Audi. A supposed leaked German dealer document published back in October claimed 0-62 in 4.5 seconds and a consumption of nearly nearly 24 MPG (“under 10 liters”).

That same document listed a few more important points. For starters, official power figures should be 340 hp and 332 lb-ft (450 NM).

Jõukõver algab 1000 rpm-i juures 30 kW-st, liigub 2000 rpm-i juures 100 kW-ni ning seejärel üles 5400 rpm-ini, mil saavutatakse masimaalsed 250 kW.
Auto tühimass on kupeekerega masina puhul 1450 kg ning roadsterkere puhul 1510 kg.

Minu jutu aluseks ei ole saitidelt pärit informatsioon vaid paberkandjal olev informatsioon, mis pärineb Audi AG-lt.
Väidetavalt on Saksas mõõdetud viienda rattaga 0-100 km/h 4,5 sekundit.
0-200 km/h sellist aega võib täiesti uskuda sest TT RS ei ole kiirusel, mil saabub pidamine, enam nelikveoline.
Ehk siis kaob ära 35%-line transmisioonikadu, mis kahjuks RS6 puhul saatuslikuks saabki, oma pideva nelikveo tõttu.

Sain tehasest vastuse oma päringule, millest selgub, et "targas raamatus" on trükiviga.
Nimelt 11,3 sekundit ei kiirenda auto 0-200 km/h vaid 11,3 sekundit kiirendab auto 100 - 200 km/h.
Järelikult kiirendab TT RS 0-200 km/h 15,9 sekundiga.
Ja eks reaalsed numbrid selguvad alles auto tulekuga.;)

Mulle meeldib, et kaal on suudetud mõnusalt väikseks jätta ning chipi ja mõne väiksema tuuningu võttega võiks loota 400hj kanti, ehk siis mybe isegi alla 4 seki 0-100 :)

Praeguse aja trendide juures on 1450 kg tõesti kergeks peetav - kuigi isegi 15 aasta tagune RS2 kaalub natukese rohkem.

Ja arvestades mida ta kõikke sisaldab siis on ta üsna kerge. Samas lisaks alumiiniumile kasutavad nad kere konstruktsioonide juures Kõrg karastatud terast mis teeb autod kered pea poole kergemaks.

460 hj Avus Audi TT-RS on kiirem kui R8 V10

Uueks ur-qattroks pürgijate nimistu on saanud värske esikoha. Tuuningufirma Avus punnitas Audi TT-RSi viiesilindrilisest turbomootorist välja pea pooltuhat hobujõudu, mis on omas kitsas klassis absoluutne tippmark.

Tehaseseades pakub Audi viiesilindriline 340 hj, mis katapulteerib auto kiiruseni 96 km/h 4,6 sekundiga. Mida siis veel tahta? Avus annab 460 hj ja 640 Nm väänet. Selles on süüdi vabamalt hingav väljalase, modifitseeritud juhtaju ning võimsam turbolaadija.

Nüüd saabub 96 km/h pelga 3,8 sekundiga ning tippkiirus ulatub märgini 320 km/h.
Sellised dünaamilised näitajad on omased pigem Audi enda superautole R8 V10 5,2 FSI, märgib Autoblog tabavalt.

Mattmusta masina alla kruvitud on 20-tollised mustad Sportec Mono veljed, mida katavad 255/30-20 Hankook S1 Evo rehvid. Vedrustus on loomulikult jäigem ning reguleeritav ning Avus TT-RS'i juhitavus tavamudelist veelgi parem. Avuse teenus maksab kenasti juba ilma hobujõude lisamata. 9.700.- euro eest saab veljed ja rehvid, vinüülvärvkate on 2000.- jne. Mootori järeleaitamise maksumuses lepitakse kliendiga ise kokku.

Mõtlema paneb veidi selle selle mootori juures ehk see, et see on tehtud põigiti vahele mahtumiseks ja suhteliselt kompaktsena, mis viib mõttele, et ilmselt ei ole tegu sellise "tankiga" nagu vanakooli 20vt oli.

Loen siin käesoleva aasta 7nda kuu TM-i, mida ilmselt paljud on juba lugenud ja mina suht imestusega tõden, et TTRS on märjal rajal ka R8 V10-st kiirem. Raja pikkus 2030 meetrit, R8 aeg 1.26.0, TTRS aeg 1.21.3. Sinna vahele jäävad veel 911 Carrera 1.25.5, Focus RS 1.24.1, GT-R 1.21.9. Kõik märgitud ajad on märjaga sõidetud. Muljetavaldav!

BMW 1-series M Coupe v Porsche Cayman R, Audi TT RS, Nissan 370Z

The £45,840 TT RS certainly does the numbers, but there’s not what you’d call a rush for the key when it’s time to drive to the next location. However, while it doesn’t score highly in the anticipation stakes, it’s quick and extremely competent. The damping is pretty well-rounded – something we don’t usually expect in a non-R8 Audi – but this is in part due to the test car’s somewhat undernourished-looking 18in rims and optional magnetic dampers. They combine to help the ride and wheel control, but the modest rims kill the TT RS’s on-road presence stone dead.

The shift action of the six-speed manual gearbox feels a bit stiff and notchy at low to medium speeds, but there’s a sweet, tactile cohesion and consistency between steering and pedal efforts, so it’s an easy car to drive accurately and smoothly at speed.

When you keep the car busy with direction changes, crests and bumps it’s confidence-inspiring and reasonably entertaining. It’s got plenty of turn-in response, with the balance to support rapid direction changes. The traction of all-wheel drive means you can really chuck it down the road, revelling in the grip and the five-cylinder engine’s generous delivery (its 335bhp and 332lb ft peak figures are identical to the 1M’s). However, as the roads begin to open out and the corners become quicker and more clearly sighted, the chassis is allowed to settle and it becomes more flat-footed with a resolutely nose-led balance and little in the way of throttle adjustability.
Of course it’s still quick, but it requires little input from the driver so there’s nothing to hook you in or hold your attention. It can also feel flustered by mid-corner compressions, falling into its bump-stops and generally feeling like its chassis is maxxed-out where the 1M and Cayman in particular hit their stride.


Few of you will be surprised that the Audi would be our last choice of the four for trackday fun. As on the road, the five-cylinder engine is an absolute cracker, but the TT’s Haldex-controlled all-wheel-drive system simply doesn’t allow you to make enjoyable progress on track. This car’s standard-fit 18in wheels and tyres don’t help the cause at Bedford either. Late braking sees the TT RS reluctant to turn in, yet even when you do nail the braking point you can’t get on the power as hard and early as you’d like because it washes resolutely into understeer when you do. The lap time of 1.27.3 is a second slower than we’ve previously recorded with a TT RS on 19s.

The Audi doesn’t need to be a trackday hero, but it should – and could – be more fun.


Predictably it’s the TT RS that’s the first to fall. On paper it seems churlish to reject the Audi so readily. That terrific five-cylinder engine is as seductive as it is effective, hurling the TT down the road with an addictive blend of easy-going tractability and full-boost rage. There were also times when the TT’s stability, traction, grip and pliancy shone brightly enough to question the doubts and disappointments felt on earlier drives. Trouble is, these moments were fleeting and relied upon a very specific type of road: one that relentlessly squirms, dips, crests and ducks and dives and generally keeps the chassis on its toes without challenging ultimate limits of grip. On such a road it feels alive, but on anything less it makes anodyne progress and feels rather less than inspiring. Perhaps the best way to describe the TT RS is to say it’s a high-performance car, but not a sporting car; it does the job of going fast, but derives little joy from the process.

Find a fast corner, brake hard and turn the steering wheel, in the beginning the TT RS may impress you with its strong braking, but then you'll feel the mass over its front axle. The artificially heavy and elastic steering is mute of communication. Push harder and the chassis runs into unavoidable understeer when the supposedly clever Haldex multi-plate clutch is searching for wheels with more traction. Boy, it listens to computer commands and laws of physics rather than your will. A true sports car should not behave like that, even though it might not boost as much traction as the Audi.

The problem of TT RS is, even with enhanced performance and handling, it still fails to gel with its driver. Yes, its engine and performance is very strong, but unfortunately everything else are not worth mentioning. For a car costing £43,000, that is not enough.

Audi avalikustas ametliku info kupee ja rotsteri TT RS tippversiooni plus kohta. Põhiliseks uuenduseks on 2,5liitrise viiesilindrilise turbomootori forsseerimine seniselt 340lt hobujõult 360ni. Pöördemoment kasvas seejuures 15 Nm võrra 465ni. Käigukastiks pakutakse kas kuuest manuaali või seitsmeastmelist topeltsiduritega S tronic robotkasti.

Kupee kiirendab paigalt sajani 4,1; rotster 4,2 sekundiga. Tippkiiruseks lubatakse mõlemal juhul 280 km/h. Keskmine kütusekulu 100 kilomeetri kohta kombineeritud tsüklis erineb samuti pisut: kupeel 8,5 ning rotsteril 8,6 liitrit.

Muudest vidinatest mainigem ära nelja kolviga sadulas pidurisüsteemi, adaptiivne vedrustus, süsinikkiuga tugevdatud plastikust peeglikorpused, sportlikum summuti ning 19tollised musta-punasega viimistletud valuveljed koos mõõdus 255/35 rehvidega.

Saksamaal algavad uue Audi hinnad 60 650 eurost.

Nägin selle pilli paar päeva tagasi ära, kuid tuleb tunnistada, et mingit erilist muljet ei jätnud. Asi võis olla tingitud ka sellest, et värviks (ilmselt kleebiseks) oli matt must.

Samas, kui linna vahel tuleb see sinine B7 vastu, siis vaatan küll järgi.:P

Olgugi, et on mudeleid, mida ma taga igatsen (ilmselt peamiselt seetõttu, et need jäid prototüüpideks), siis ma ei saaks öelda, et üks vähe seksikas idee oleks TTRS kone oma popi kastiga R8 kere peal. See ideelend ei pretendeeri millelegi muule peale idee..

Plans are underway to develop a hardcore super-light Audi TT, according to Audi’s development boss, Wolfgang Durheimer.

A ‘multi-material’ version of the next-generation TT is being worked with a target of a 1000kg kerb weight, even though it will get a five-cylinder engine, all-wheel drive and a roll cage.

Sources describe the car - which will use steel, aluminium and carbonfibre in the construction of its MQB architecture - as a kind of 911 GT3 for the TT line-up.

Durheimer, who is leading the project’s pre-development work said: “The TT is an icon car for Audi and has a very interesting future”

Audi’s management team will meet over the coming week to consider whether to give the green light to such a model.
